John chapter 2 begins the typology of the Messianic Bridegroom as the only solution at a very desperate time. The new wine, now transformed, is a full message of celebration. We look forward to a grand day as the bride, the church, is removed from the 7-year Tribulation to enjoy the majestic and royal marriage supper of the lamb. The wedding feast at Cana points to a marvelous future when we finally see the long-awaited Kingdom of God.
